We are seriously into all things cheese dip and guac around here and so when Annie M asked for a “Fancy Fifth Fiesta” and to wear the gold dress from Kristin’s wedding, I obliged and right away, started planning!
Fiesta’s are really easy to pull off and whether its Cinco de Mayo or just any old party, I always think that a fiesta is a fun theme. They are super fun, fit for all ages and their are so many ways you can style them!
As with any party I plan, I start with my vision board. This is usually built thanks to gathering initial feedback from the honoree, host(esses), planner, etc and finding images to represent that feel via Pinterest.
Annie M told me that she wanted “gold, and her gold dress, lots of colors – including pink and purple, a pinata, pin the tail on the donkey and chips…lots of chips.” Once she told me her ideal, I set to work and this was the vision board I threw together. You can see all links below via my Pinterest board.
We just hung out with friends and family, spent the afternoon outside and did party games! Below is a few extra pictures from the day and a list of all of my party good sources! It was a wonderful 5th birthday and a fabulous fancy fifth fiesta!
