Did I tell yall that we were in Keystone Colorado last week? I think I mentioned Colorado, but I didn’t know if I had mentioned the actual resort – it was Keystone.
First, let me tell you about our condo. We stayed at the “Key Condo” and while it was straight out of the 80’s with its shag carpet and wood paneling, it was just fine. After all, I wasn’t there to critique my housing, I was there to throw some powder around on the slopes!! I will say though that I am not high maintenance when it comes to housing. As long as I have a roof over my head and am warm I am just fine. Running water is a nice amenity too and since this place had that and cable t.v., I was okay.
Now, I wouldn’t consider it the Ritz Carlton or luxurious by any means, but for a chalet a the slopes for a few couples turned ski bunnies, it was fine. A pack n play was waiting on our arrival for AM and a quick trip to the grocery store for food and some air fresheners and we turned our little condo into a home away from home.
Since we had AM with us and seemed to need more space with baby and all, the other two couples deemed us the matriarch and patriarch and gave us the master suite. One of them took the other double bed and the other couple took the kids room. CT3 and I felt bad about this and so while they were out one night, we tried to turn their room from the children’s room to the newly wed suite….
