Its late and I was blog hopping and came across a post in which the writer asked for discussion on non-religious people baptizing their children spurred by her viewing of an episode of Pregnant In Heels. I had an entire post drafted on my thoughts on her question in regards to her topic but instead I am going to skip my post on that and instead write about my faith, my questions and how I got to where I am today – which is an open book and a sinful girl attempting to work out her salvation daily.
Also, at the bottom of this, I have put a link up thingy! To hear of how the Lord uses each of you and calls each of you is so amazing and for those who may want to share their testimony or where they are at, please write your own post and link up!
I never really knew how to pray other than “Lord please let me win my soccer game and please help me score a hat trick so Mom and Dad will give me money” so I would often just say the Lords prayer as I thought that is what I was supposed to do. It had the word prayer in the title, so that must have been right, right!?
I was recruited to play at a few schools and though I had everything set up to go and walk on at the University of Tennessee, the Alabama coach called me in late May and after a day spent in Bama, I applied and signed all in one day. I watched as my application was stamped with “Athletics” and on the way home, I called UT and re-nigged on my dorm arrangements and meal plan….the soccer part of this is an entire post of its own, so I will skip it for now and move on.
I love hearing about how the Lord has worked in each of your hearts as He is a magnificent God. If you want to share your story, feel free to link up below. I have no idea how to do the link up thing – so this will be a first for me, but I figured what better links to share than about how Jesus has called you to Him!
Anyway, thanks for reading and if you feel led, please encourage us all and share with us your story.
