I have nothin’ for ya!
…shocked that for once I have nothing to say?? I know. I kind of am too.
This week has been my first full week with Husband back at work and me having all four babies. So far, so good! We have made it to everything and have been on time. I have even gone to bed before midnight two nights this week and have NOT gotten Starbucks daily.
You are shocked again, I am sure.
It has been a bit nuts here because it’s early release all week and so we have swapped around schedules and times to accommodate half day schedules. Its given me less down time, and the time I have had, I have spent trying to clean out. So basically, my house is trashed and projects are half done.
Here are some pics of us all at the bus stop, my trashed house (I am working on cleaning out the garage and play room – DEEP BREATHS –
I want everything gone. If it doesn’t have a purpose or if its not being used, vamos. Good riddance. Sayonara. See ya later alligator. GONE.
Does it always get worse before it gets better or is that just me? All of that to say, the house is a mess, but the kids are doing great, my workouts have been on track and the dynamics with four kids has been good as we learn how all of this works! I even took everyone to the park solo and didn’t lose a child.

Speaking of workouts…I knocked this one out of the park and I did it while the kids made the mess in the playroom! It was a trade off for sure. Let them trash the playroom for me to get in an hour workout?? I suppose.
I had my first parent conference this week for Annie M and was impressed. She is doing well at school and her teachers spoke highly of her. I snapped a picture of the “chunks and tricks” they use to help the kiddos learn to read and also of a story she wrote sounding out all letters and sounds on her own.
With the chunks and tricks, her teacher sings songs and chants and rhymes and all sorts of things to help the kids learn. I wanted a copy of it for myself so that I could encourage Annie M and help her when I saw the sounds too. These teachers are some gifted, smart, patient people. Not sure I would have the energy to teach a class full of kindergartners!
Speaking of parent conference day, GUESS WHO WORE REAL, NON-MATERNITY CLOTHES OUT OF THE HOUSE?! This girl right here did!! I have a long way to go, but it was nice feeling dressed and confident in myself! Shirt I got the other day from Old Navy and all jewels and clutch are from Stella & Dot.
The boys had costume parades this week too, so I went flying up there and almost missed them walking by…both days. 🙂
Anyhoo, my to do lists are growing by the second and my brain is spinning with ideas. I have so much I want to accomplish and no time to do it! Or lots of littles trying to help me do it – and lets be honest, sometimes their idea of helping and mine are a bit different! 🙂
I’ll be back soon with breastfeeding posts, updates on the kids, what I am reading, holiday stuff and more! Til then, I’ll leave you with this election meme that hits the nail on the head…
Have a great Thursday!
