Today was de ja vu of yesterday. We were up early, ate breakfast, got to the Metro and before we knew it were in Vatican City. Thanks to the previous days wanderings, today we knew exactly where to go!
What I didn’t know was that the Sistine Chapel was actually a part of the Vatican Museum. I guess that was a good thing because there was only one entrance fee. The bad part was that it was at the VERY end of the Museum so if you wanted to skip the other exhibits and just go straight to the Sistine Chapel, it was difficult to do. Regardless, as we wandered through room after room of displays, art and history, we learned quite a bit and enjoyed seeing all that we got to see.

Finally we found the famous Sistine Chapel!! I don’t think I was supposed to take a picture in here, but go figure, I did!
As we left, we had to stop and send postcards from the worlds smallest state, Vatican City! We knew every ones address so we took 10 minutes, jotted down a few words and sent them! After we sent the postcards, we shopped for a bit in the store (where everything was overly priced, and mostly catholic memorabilia). There was some cool artwork and books, but we passed on them as we didn’t have a ton of suitcase room left!
