Two papers down, three to go. One midterm down, one to go. Zero finals down, two to go.
That summarizes the rest of my semesters work load. I will turn in my completed midterm tonight and begin to work on my next. I will begin scouring articles for my next article review, finding resources for my next 10 page essay on energy and writing an outline for my next term paper.
By the end of the semester my brain will be mush. I will never want to write another paper again in my life. As stressful as this seems there are a few good points that are well worth noting:
- BOTH midterms were take home.
- NEITHER final is cumulative. Praise the good Lordy above!!
- I ACTUALLY like my professors.
- My madre is my chief editor and proof reader.
Along with those four, here is what I JUST realized. I freaking work for a college. Not only do I have every resource and library book at my fingertips, but everyone who surrounds me is a PhD and way smarter than I will ever dream of being.
That said, I just took advantage of my first one! I emailed him on a topic he has done thorough work on. Phone call came in appx. one hour later. He was superb and quite excited about energy…yes, scientist/physicists kind of weird me out.
Anyhoo, I am meeting him tomorrow to get the skinny on energy. YES!!! After I told him the assignment, he was even telling me, “based on my initial understanding of the assignment, it seems as if I should go in the direction of blah blah blah blah blah…”
(Blah=stuff about energy, key topics to hone in on and him telling me the sources to find it all)
NOW THATS THE KIND OF HELP I LIKE!! Given this recent excitement over one of my school’s professors, lets just say this kind of solicitation for help may become a regular thing. YESSS!!!
