Bags are packed, car is almost loaded and soon we will be headed south for a few days at Disney World.
This will be our first time as a family to go to Disney. The kids are thrilled and even the hubs and I are excited. We have been talking about going for the past year, and have saved our pennies for the trip, so to see it all come together is awesome.
I have documented each step of planning our Disney trip and will soon blog about the plans, scheduling and trip itself! I have all sorts of tricks and tips I have learned and gathered from friends and I cant wait to arrive and see what works – and what doesn’t!
I am not sure if Mickey, Minnie, Elsa and Anna are ready for my motley crew, but soon we will be dining with them, parading with them and more.
If you are there, look for us…or rather look for Mary Poppins, Bert and their penguins! If you are home, follow our trip via the hashtags below!
….also, I am DYING over the Bert costume. After searching high and low online for Mary Poppins costumes and Bert costumes and googling all things “jolly holiday” and finding custom made ones over $300 or one that the lady sewed from scratch, I was bound and determined to make a no sew version. It came out pretty amazing, if I say so myself!!
No sew tutorial coming soon – and hopefully in plenty of time for Halloween for any of you friends who may want to make one for your little Mary Poppins loving fans!
